A native of the Washington DC area, Dr. Lauren Gardiner joined UPMC Department of Otolaryngology after graduating from VCU School of Medicine. She chose UPMC for residency for its unparalleled clinical training and outstanding group of faculty & residents. Some of her clinical interests include medical/surgical education and social determinants of healthcare outcomes in otolaryngology. As an artist, she spends her free time painting, attempting to roast coffee at home, and reading modern classics. Her favorite thing to do in Pittsburgh is hike the South Side Slopes with her dog, Eddie.
