Research Interests
The role of innate immunity and underlying inflammatory mechanisms of chronic rhinosinusitis
The development of novel therapies to treat patients with recalcitrant chronic rhinosinusitis
Patient outcome and cost-benefit analysis of current methods of allergy testing
Characterization of the unified airway in patients with asthma, allergic rhinitis, and chronic rhinosinusitis
Patient outcome after endoscopic sinus and skull base surgery
 
Academic Affiliation
Upon finishing her fellowship, Dr. Lee accepted a position in the Department of Otolaryngology at UPMC. She is working closely with Dr. Berrylin Ferguson, M.D. in the Division of Sinonasal Disorders and Allergy at Mercy Hospital.
 
Education
Stella Lee, M.D., completed her otolaryngology training at Yale University in New Haven, CT in 2010 followed by fellowship training in Rhinology and Skull Base Surgery at Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore, Maryland.
